A Stanford BA, UCLA MBA, UC Denver JD, and Pacifica MA, Gottfried is a former Fortune 500 in-house counsel and solo practitioner. Prior to becoming a psychotherapist and licensed Marriage & Family therapist, Gottfried was a mediator and active in holistic and collaborative lawyers groups. He has been honored by the state counseling association as outstanding chapter leader in Los Angeles. He also serves as a counselor for the State Bar Lawyers Assistance Program.
