Helps lawyers to assess their career options inside and outside the legal field, to conduct effective job searches, to develop alternative work/life options, and to enhance career development within the law. Has counseled more than 2,500 lawyers. A JD with a Masters of Social Science from Bryn Mawr, Ms. Nielsen worked as a criminal prosecutor, first in state court as an assistant DA, and then in federal court as a U.S. Attorney. She developed her own counseling business, and several of Chicago’s largest law firms rely on her for outplacement and executive coaching services.
