Its researchers conduct fact-finding investigations into human rights abuses in more than 70 countries, and have offices in New York, Brussels, London, Moscow, Paris, Hong Kong, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Tashkent, Toronto, and Washington DC. Openings for researchers, field investigators, and advocates are posted online for at least 30 days, and are highly competitive. Between 100 and 700 applications are received for every vacancy.
