Dena R. Bauman (drb20008@yahoo.com) — Individualized counseling, coaching, and sustained self-assessment to help identify strengths, interests and professional goals, and to help develop and implement the strategies to reach them. Ms. Bauman reviews resumes and cover letters, and performs mock interviews. A graduate of Cornell Law, she practiced in New York and Washington DC. Currently, she is the career services director of a Washington DC law school, and is active in local and national legal recruitment organizations.

Alexandra Duran, JD/MSW (www.AlexandraDuran.com) — Attorney, HR professional, licensed clinical social worker. Extensive experience helping lawyers advance in their current position or find new opportunities for personal and professional growth. More than 25 years in career counseling, in addition to experience as general counsel for the Fashion Institute of Technology, as an associate with Dewey LeBoeuf LLP, and as associate personnel director for City University of New York. Currently, Ms. Duran is an Independent Director of Genworth Life Insurance Company of New York, and a member of the New York Women’s Bar Association and the New York City Bar. Her MSW is from New York University, her JD from Brooklyn Law School.

Amiram Elwork, JD/Ph.D. (www.vorkell.com) – Dr. Elwork provides personal counseling and executive coaching to lawyers, and practice management consulting, to law firms in the Philadelphia area. In addition, he is a national speaker on a variety of topics related to enhancing the psychological skills of lawyers, and facilitates law firm retreats. Dr. Elwork is also the Director of the Law-Psychology (JD-PsyD) Graduate Program at Widener University, and has written extensively on various psycholegal issues. His most recent book is, Stress Management for Lawyers.

Nancy Gibson, JD (www.careerconsultingforlawyers.com) — Lawyer and legal educator for more than 20 years. Works with lawyers on career advancement, work-life balance, career satisfaction, and workforce re-entry. She earned her JD cum laude from Northwestern University, practiced in state and federal courts in Chicago, was a litigation associate in Boston, and has taught clinical courses at Northwestern and University of Maine. Member of the Governing Board of the Maine Career Development Association and a CCE-credentialed Global Career Development Facilitator.

Deborah Katz Solomon, JD (www.acuitylegal.com) — Ms. Solomon’s coaching clients are high-achieving attorneys who want to be more effective in their current roles. Ms. Solomon practiced law with Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP, where she focused on antitrust and class action litigation. She is certified in Leadership Coaching by Georgetown University. Her JD is from Vanderbilt University Law School.

Wendy L. Werner, M.S.Ed (www.wendywerner.com/associates) — Ms. Warner helps lawyers in career management and career enhancement. She serves as a sounding board, referral source, and partner in assisting clients in evaluating their current circumstances, and making effective plans for changes. Ms. Werner has worked in career consulting for more than 20 years, most of which as the Assistant Dean for Career Services at Saint Louis University School of Law. Member, ABA Law Practice Management Section, and the Law Practice Today editorial board.

Ralph G. Wrobley, Esq. (ralphwrobley@gmail.com) — Former equity partner in three Am Law 200 law firms and managing partner in two of them. An in-house associate mentor for many years, Wrobley recently retired after 45 years in law, and now coaches three-to-eight-year associates on getting their careers “unstuck” and moving toward equity partner status. Wrobley has a BA from Yale and a JD from the University of Chicago. He currently serves as of counsel with Husch Blackwell Sanders LLP (Kansas City MO).
