JD Career Coaching (Chicago)

Through special arrangement with LawyerAvenue, career consultant Sheila Nielsen (JD/MSW) is offering an introductory, four-hour career coaching/consulting package for Chicago-area lawyers.

A leader in the field of law career consulting, Ms. Nielsen has counseled more than 2,500 law clients over nearly 20 years. Several of Chicago’ s largest law firms currently rely on her for outplacement and executive coaching services.

PROFILE – Ms. Nielsen is a trained social worker and former criminal prosecutor (assistant DA in state court, and with the US Attorney’s Office in Chicago). She was also on the US Attorney's Office hiring committee. A graduate of Temple University Law School (with an MSW from Bryn Mawr), Ms. Nielsen has contributed to two ABA career books, and currently writes a career column for a woman's bar association in Chicago.
