Welcome to The Collector

The Collector is a first in the legal community to match buyers and sellers in the sale of vintage and historic collectibles.

Here's how it works:

Collectors wishing to sell one or more vintage items are invited to post a classified in one of six categories -- Americana, Antiquarian, Documents/Maps, Fountain Pens, Sports, or Watches/Jewelry.

With the purchase of a classified, sellers will be provided instructions on uploading images and text. Once the ad is posted, buyer and seller deal directly! Ads remain posted for up to two months or until the item is reported sold.

There are no commissions, no middle-man fees.

The ground rules:

* Maximum five classifieds can be posted at a time (with up to 3 images per ad).
* Images must be at least 500x500 pixels (72/dpi low-res).
* Ads must include contact information (e.g., e-mail address and/or phone number). No Web addresses.

The cost of ads? Free through the end of the year (our beta phase). Beginning in 2009, classifieds will be $49 each!
