Just inside the lid is a small metal cage – a kind of tea “egg” – that descends into the water, and lets your favorite tea blend achieve brew properly. When it's ready, you lift the cage and pour. No counter mess; it’s all self-contained.

The carafe is made from the highest quality porcelain, and fired at 1320-degrees Celsius to ensure strength, durability, and insulation. The glazing is acid-free, lead-free, cadmium-free. Dishwasher-safe.
