A Gift of a Lifetime set.

In 1940, Eversharp commissioned famed industrial designer Henry Dreyfuss to design a new line of fountain pens.

The result was the highly successful Skyline, which was eventually produced in dozens of colors and configurations.

The Gift of a Lifetime model, with its
solid gold cap and barrel, were heavily advertised by Phil Baker on his radio show "Take it or Leave it", and became a popular Christmas present.
